Thomas D'Arcangelis

Thomas D’Arcangelis, 84 of Ocean Township, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 with his daughter and son-in-law Anthony.  He was born in Fort Plains, NY, residing in Englishtown before settling in Ocean Township. He was Chairman of the Comprehensive Employment and Training Agency (CETA), and Chairman of the Planning Board in Hazlet Township. He was also a volunteer at Southern Ocean Hospital in the Emergency Department in Manahawkin, NJ.  He was an Army Korean War Veteran who served as a Staff Sgt. in the 229 Signal Corps. Thomas was a Human Resource Manager for Charles F. Guyon Inc., Harrison, NJ for 30 years and retired as a Human Resource Manager from S&W Waste, Kearny, NJ in 1996.

Thomas was predeceased by his wife Dolores and nine siblings.  He is survived by his loving sister Angelina Morra; his loving children Thomas A. D’Arcangelis of Parlin, NJ; Joan Palermo and husband Anthony of Ocean, NJ; and Donna D. Kubeck and husband William of Colts Neck, NJ; and 8 cherished grandchildren.  Thomas will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015 at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport. A service will be held at the funeral home Monday, 10:30am.
