Ruth A (Johnson) Davis

Ruth A. (Johnson) Davis, 80, of Union Beach, passed away, Sunday, July 3, 2016, at Madison Center, Old Bridge.  She was born in Mansfield, MA.  She worked for Bayshore Health Care, Holmdel, retiring in 1998.  Ruth was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Matawan (Sirius Chapter #123).

Ruth was predeceased by her beloved husband, Walter C. Davis, Jr.; her parents, Carl and Vivian (Bowen) Johnson; and her brother, Robert Johnson.  She is survived by her loving children, Ruth Simone and her husband Thomas Jr. of Union Beach; Martha Conner and her husband Eugene of Edison; and Walter R. Davis of VA; two dear sisters, Evelyn Todd of N. Highlands, CA and Elaine Koch and her husband Henry of N. Andover, Massachusetts; three cherished grandchildren, Danielle Ponnwitz and her husband James; Andrew Conner and Alyssa Conner; and a precious great grandson, Gavin.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Friday, July 8, 2016, from 6-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Saturday, July 9, 2016, 9:30AM, with a 10AM service at the funeral home.
