Romayne S. (Sopko) Jaczynski

Romayne S. (Sopko) Jaczynski, 79, of Old Bridge Township, passed away, Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Bayshore Health Care, Holmdel.  She was born in Carbondale, PA, where she grew up, until moving to Old Bridge Township 55 years ago.  Romayne and her husband founded and owned Gene’s Driving School for over 20 years.  She was a communicant of the Sacred Heart RC Church, South Amboy. 

Romayne was predeceased by her beloved husband, Eugene V. Jaczynski; and her parents, Peter and Genevieve (Mozeliak) Sopko.  She is survived by her loving children, Lynn Jaczynski and her husband, Mark Engler; Gene Jaczynski and his wife, Lana Parker; and Mark Jaczynski; a dear sister, Marlene Mannion; and six cherished grandchildren, Mark Ringwald, Vaughn Parker, Aidan and Theo Parker, and Jake and Craig Jaczynski.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday, February 15, 2016, from 4-7PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Tuesday, February 16, 2016, 8AM, at the funeral home, with a 9AM Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart RC Church, South Amboy.  Interment will follow at the Brig.
