Thea. My sister just told me, and I am so sorry. I don't know if you shared our re-connection with your son - I forwarded and shared our emails; and communications with my daughter, We are connected with the love for our children, from the same man, even if that door closed our children and that special love for our child never goes away.. So sad - Thea and I walked to school together along with her little brother, Greg. I remember she had an aunt whose last name was Shade. She used to say if it wasn't for Shades it would be curtains for all of us. We thought was hysterical. I remember her dog, Lady. I went home once too and asked my mother why she couldn't be patient like Mrs Starr. And when Thea put her snow boots on the heat floor register....Oh so many random things I remember. So she is gone so soon. Thinking of her family and wishing you peace.

My friend Thea....absolute proof that angels DO walk among us
I am blessed to have had her in my life and honored that she called me "family", grouping me with the kindess, most generous, loyal and loving people one could ever meet. I am truly heartbroken for each of you and hope in time you will find comfort in your memories as I hope I will. For now, I'm going to picture my friend sitting on a cloud, no longer in pain surrounded by Dutch, KC, Truman and Willow just waiting for my silly self to trip or fall so she could laugh...that signature laugh..that I will miss sooo much!!

Thea was a good and beautiful woman, and a great friend to me, she helped me out of a horrible situation and because of her, my daughters were raised with happiness and love. I had always wanted to reconnect with her to let her know how much I appreciated her, and to bring our children together. I hope she knows. Heartfelt sadness and love to my stepson who is finally brother to my daughters. She raised a fine man.

Thea's deep caring and abiding love for others resoundingly outshone her brief but so tragic illness! Her life was a storehouse forever brimming and ever-flowing with all of the goodness she heaped on others! It truly saddens everyone to learn that the great passion Thea had for life was stripped from her so soon! There is ample evidence that she knew and loved us all! Fond memories of all us cousins swimming at Sea Bright Beach as kids. Thea had a red bathing suit and I can still remember her body surfing a huge wave. She was floating on top of the wave and all I could see was that bright red bathing suit.
