Dear Nellie and Family,
Sad news, Bill McNally notified me of your loss.
Duke was a one of a kind. A true gentleman of the old school. Many of us after leaving Jersey, no matter if gone for years, knew the Duke would be there to welcome us back. A visit with Duke was always at top of things to do list. If you wanted latest news of classmates and old friends he was the one to see. There was no such thing as a quick visit with the Duke he was always ready for and evening out for dinner fun and in our younger days, dancing at Heightstown Country Club. Those were the days my friend we thought they'd never end.
Nellie you have been Duke's pillar of strength. May God bless you during this trying time. Thanks for the memories, we had a very enjoyable lunch together last year.
Mere words cannot express my sincere condolences. If I may take the liberty, we, members of the Aviation community, speak of a final flight by our dearest of old friends.
