Sidney J. Lambertson

Sidney J. Lambertson, 95, of Keyport, passed away, Thursday, November 17, 2016, at home.  He was born in Keyport and remained a lifelong resident.  He worked as a chemical engineer with Dupont, Parlin.  He was the oldest living member of the Keyport Yacht Club and past commodore.  Sidney served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII.

Sidney was predeceased by his beloved wife, Irene; and his parents, Sidney and Florence (Bowers) Lambertson.  He is survived by his two sons, James Lambertson and his wife Janet of Manasquan; and Glenn Lambertson and his wife Debbie of Ojai, CA; his brother, Alfred Lambertson of Keyport; four cherished grandchildren, Kathleen, James, Michael and Ryan; and two precious great grandchildren, Colin and Morgan.  He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Monday, November 21, 2016, from 2-4 & 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Tuesday, November 22, 2016, 9:15AM at the funeral home, with a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph RC Church, Keyport.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Keyport.  To post a condolence to the family or for directions to the funeral home, please visit www.dayfuneralhome.com.
