Mildred Rose (Benedetto) Bulger

Mildred Rose (Benedetto) Bulger, 74, of Middletown, passed away, Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Bayshore Health Care Center, Holmdel.  Born in Kearney, she resided in North Arlington and Union Beach prior to moving to Middletown.  She retired after working as an executive assistant with CPC Behavorial Health Care, Morganville. She was a member of the Rosary Group and past CCD teacher at St. Catherine’s RC Church, North Middletown.

Mildred was predeceased by her beloved husband, Clifford Paul Bulger in 1993; a son, Edward F. Bulger; and her parents, Edward M. and Mildred F. (Queck) Benedetto.  She is survived by her loving children, Paul J. Bulger and wife Barbara of Williamstown; Mildred C. Bulger of Port Monmouth; and Dennis P. Bulger and wife Maureen of Edison; her siblings, Edward W. Benedetto of North Arlington; Ruth Ann Polukort of Toms River; Michael Benedetto of N.C.; William R. Benedetto of North Arlington; James P. Benedetto of Hopatcong; Peter Benedetto of FL and Donald E. Benedetto of FL; five cherished grandchildren, Nicole Bulger, ElizaBeth Koenig, Zachary Koenig, Amanda Bulger and Paul Bulger; three precious great grandchildren, AngelLina, IzaBella and Alaina; and many adored nieces and nephews.  She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Monday, June 13, 2016, from 2-4 & 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Tuesday, June 14, 2016, 8:30AM at the funeral home, with a 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine’s RC Church, North Middletown.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Keyport.  To post a condolence to the family or for directions to the funeral home, please visit www.dayfuneralhome.com.
