My sincerest condolences to Arnold, Becky and the entire family. I had the distinct pleasure to work with Karen for about 6 years at EMOG. We spent about 2 years alone, before others were added to our work area. We talked and shared a lot, both in sorrow and happiness. Karen had a remarkable love for her family, especially her children! There wasn't a day the she failed to talk about Arnold. I can't forget her pets either, there didn't seem to be an animal she didn't love. She was a hard worker with a brilliant mind. I watched her daily enjoying two things, her Lays Potato Chips and Skittles. I smiled as I remember her saying she had the appetite of a five year old. She will sorely be missed but Never forgotten.

Please accept my sincere condolences for you , Arnold and the family. Karen was a remarkable woman that I had the pleasure of working with at NJSS. I Had the pleasure of calling her a "friend" even outside of work, I was humbled by her kindness and compassion to everyone around her. We called her Mariposa" which means in English "Butterfly" R.I.P. my beautiful Mariposa. Gone but never forgotten. I will cherish forever all of our memories that we made when we worked together.

The day God called you home

God looked around his garden
And He found an empty place.
He then looked down upon this earth,
And saw your tired face.

He put his arms around you
And lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best.

He knew that you were suffering
He knew you were in pain
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.

He saw that the road was getting rough.
And the hills are hard to climb,
So He closed your weary eyelids
And whispered “Peace be thine”.

It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn’t go alone
For part of us went with you
That day that God called you home

My heartfelt condolences to the Perret family. I will miss Karen very much. I will always cherish the long talks we had at the end of the day when her office was right outside mine. Go in peace. God bless her.

For the past 8 years, I've had the honor to work with Karen as my right hand woman. She has mentored me and helped me gain a wealth of knowledge. I'm going to miss her so much. May she rest peacefully in paradise! My Mariposa😞
