Jerome A. Dolan

Jerome A. Dolan, 68, of Hazlet, NJ, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away, Saturday, November 19, 2016, at the Lyons VA Hospital, Bernards Township, NJ.  He was born in Brooklyn and remained a lifelong resident.  He moved to Hazlet a year ago. Jerome served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.  He retired from the U.S. Postal Service, Brooklyn, as a maintenance worker.  He was a member of the Disabled American Vets, Chapter 29, Shrewsbury.

Jerome was predeceased by his parents, John and Rose (Giusto) Dolan.  He is survived by his devoted sister, Maria Vignola and her husband Frank of Hazlet; a cherished niece, Patricia Vignola-Tyler and her husband Lee of Shrewsbury; and a precious great nephew, Henry.  He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.

Visitation will take place on Saturday, November 26, 2016, from 2-4 & 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735, with a 3:30PM funeral service at the funeral home; and Monday, November 28, 2016, 9:30AM, at the funeral home, with interment taking place at 11AM, at the Brig.
