Doris (Van Decker) Thompson, 95, of Keyport, passed away, Friday, May 01, 2015, at home. Born in Newark, she resided in Parlin, prior to moving to Keyport eight years ago. She was a homemaker; who was family oriented. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Doris was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stephen Thompson; her son, Russell J. Thompson; and her parents, John and Mary (Reedy) Van Decker. She is survived by her loving daughter, April Everman of Brick; four cherished grandchildren, Allyson, Stefanie, Megan and Drew; and three adored great grandchildren, Morgan, Jared and Maxwell. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
