Barbara A. (Walsh) Bianco, 73, of Laurence Harbor, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at home, surrounded by her family.  Born in New York City, she resided in New York, before moving to Laurence Harbor 47 years ago.  She worked as a traffic manager with Bourbon Coffee, Inc., New York City; and then with the mental health billing of South Amboy Hospital, before retiring. 

 

Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband, James J. Bianco, in 2009; a daughter, Kathrine in 1996; and her parents, William and Catherine (DeCarlo) Walsh.  She is survived by her three sons, William, James and Michael Bianco, all of Laurence Harbor; a daughter, Lizabeth Bianco-Kleinosky and her husband Donald; two sisters, Margaret Betsch and her husband Robert of NC and Angela Carter and her husband Douglas of NV; six cherished grandchildren, Jennifer, John, Ryan, Kathrine, Ellen and Katie; three adored great grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Ariella and RJ; and four nieces, Lisa, Angela, Corinne and Monica.   She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

 

Family and friends are invited Sunday, July 5, 2015, from 2-6PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735 and Monday, July 6, 2015, 8AM at the funeral home, with a 9AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Lawrence RC Church, Laurence Harbor.  Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia.  To post an online condolence to the family or for directions to the funeral home, please visit www.dayfuneralhome.com.
