Karen Michele (Pietronicco) Perret

Karen Michele (Pietronicco) Perret, 51, of Iselin, passed away, Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at JFK Haven Hospice, Edison.  Born in Jersey City, she resided in Colonia before settling in Iselin.  She worked as a Medical Billing Manager with NJ Spine Specialists, Summit.  She was a member of the Rahway Hogs.  She was a devoted fan of the Buffalo Bills and an avid lover of all animals.

Karen was predeceased by her parents, Pasquale Pietronicco and Patricia (Loranger) Bongiorno; and a son, Benjamin Pietronicco.  She is survived by her beloved husband, Arnold Perret; a loving daughter, Rebecca Solecki and her husband Steven of Parlin; three siblings, Michael Pietronicco of IL; Diane Hughes of TX; and William Pietronicco of NJ;  a cherished grandson, Nicolas Solecki; and a stepson, Nicholas Perret.   She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017, 2-4 & 7-9PM, at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ  07735; and Wednesday, February 1, 2017, 10AM, with a 10:30AM service at the funeral home.  Entombment will follow at St. Gertrude Mausoleum, Colonia.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Karen’s memory to Karma Cat + Zen Dog, P.O.
