Wilmer Giovanni Chavez February 17th 1965 - March 28th 2020 ( 55 Years Old )
Wilmer Giovanni Chavez, 55 of Aberdeen, passed away at his home Saturday, March 28, 2020. Born in Ecuador to Flerida Delgado and Victor Chavez, he later relocated to Brooklyn, New York, where he met his wife Deanna Reyes. Wilmer accomplished many great things in his life. He proudly served his country in the Army. He owned his own company, worked as a cab driver in the city, and knew how to fix anything and everything. You can definitely say that he was the jack of all trades, but nothing was greater than becoming a father to his five amazing children, Michael, Kiel, Grace, Gabrielle, and Andrew. He then became a proud grandfather to Mila, Angel, and Baby Chavez, who is on the way. He always tried to live his life as a vessel to the Lord. Within his walk in faith he became a beacon of strength to everyone, including non-believers. He found a second family in the Church, his brothers and sisters in Christ who he loved. He found out that the best way to reach people was through food and fellowship. Willie, as he was commonly known, is survived by his mother, Flerdia Delgado, wife, Deanna Reyes, children, Michael, Kiel, Grace, Gabrielle, and Andrew, grandchildren, Mila, Angel, and Baby Chavez. He also leaves behind his three younger siblings, Jacqueline, Carmen, and Javier. Willie was an incredible soul who was selfless and kind to all he met. Even though his physical body is forced to decay, his soul lives on in eternal life and within everyone that he touched. Until we meet again
