Obituary
William Daniel Whitaker, 91 of Hazlet, passed away Friday March 10, 2023 at home.
He was born in Union Beach to the late William Francis Whitaker and Annabelle (Hyer) Whitaker.
William was an student at Weber College in Ogden, Utah, also proudly serving his country in the United States Airforce for four years just after the end of the Korean War Conflict.
William was also predeceased by a dear son Ronald Whitaker and son-in-law Kevin Shea.
He leaves behind his beloved wife Maria (Escobedo) Whitaker; a daughter Norma Shea; Loving grandchildren Caroline Thompson and her husband Mark, Patricia Howlett and her husband Mike, and Gregory Shea; dear great-grandchildren Emma Shea and Caleigh Sparks; a loving brother Daniel Whitaker of Lebanon, New Hampshire; and a loving nephew James Siano of Little Rock, Arkansas.
Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation for William on Tuesday March 14, 2023 9AM to 11AM at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735.
At that time a funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11AM.
Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery of Middletown.
