William (Vassilios) Aristovulos, age 71, died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Sunday February 7, 2021, at his treasured beach house, in Cliffwood Beach, NJ. Bill was born June 14, 1949, in Athens, Greece, to Constantine and Asimina Aristovulos. Along with his parents and his older brother Nicholas, he made the United States his home in 1956. He is survived by his loving wife Peg Werns, his beloved children Nick and Laura Aristovulos and his devoted chiweenie Max. Bill attended SUNY Farmingdale in 1974 - 1976 where he majored in horticulture hoping to be ready for the legalization of marijuana. He was loved and appreciated by all who knew him. He was very smart and equally silly, a man of many skills. At different times in his life, he ran a farm stand, was a draftsman, a small business owner, and a NYC resident building manager/superintendent. In his later years he shared his diverse expertise as a teacher for the Thomas Shortman Training Fund, perhaps the job he loved the most. It allowed him to share his passion for Green buildings. He also loved a good fart joke. There will be a memorial service when the pandemic winds down. Please leave your condolences, favorite Bill memory, or even just a Dad joke here on the Tribute wall. With much love, thank you to all who are helping our family through this time of loss.
