Troy "Junior" Eakin Fitzgerald

   Troy Eakin Fitzgerald, "Junior" 73 of Keansburg passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.  He proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War earning a Bronze Star.  Troy worked for Chase Pharmaceutical, Newark NJ as a Line Mechanic for 24 years retiring in 2009.

   Troy is predeceased by his parents, Troy and Ada Fitzgerald, first wife Eleanor Fitzgerald, son  John Barton and siblings Rosa Reed and Thomas Fitzgerald.  He is survived by his loving wife; Ruth Fitzgerald, caring children, Richard Fitzgerald and his wife Lisa, Kelli Fitzgerald and her husband Troy Anthony, Michele Fitzgerald and her husband Larry, adored grandchildren; Constance Jones and her husband William, Richard Fitzgerald II, Aidan, Noah, Ashley, Troy Anthony, Christina Ranallo, Amanda Fonseca, Arianna Akay, Marc, Alexis Reda. Troy also leaves his cherished great grandchildren; Carlee Fitzgerald, Raven, Finnick Jones, Mason Fitzgerald, Autumn Campbell, Journey Howard, Kira, Kai Anthony and siblings; Gloria McCurdy, Dennie Fitzgerald, Patricia Fitzgerald and Joe Fitzgerald.  He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

  Relatives and friends are invited Monday, March 1, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Tuesday, March 2, 2021, 9 AM at the funeral home with a 10 AM service.  Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown.

  Following Troy's internment, the family wishes to let everyone know there will be no reception in light of the current pandemic, but will hold a memorial gathering reception in Troy's honor at a later date.
