Thomas Joseph Ferrante, Sr., 102, died January 29, 2021. He was born in Cliffwood, NJ to Domenico Ferrante and Liberata Mancini Ferrante. Mr. Ferrante was a WWII Army veteran and a communicant of the Dutch Reformed Church of Keyport where he served as a Deacon and Elder. He and his brother, Joseph, were co-owners of Hollywood Oil Service for 30 years. He was a member of Keyport Kiwanis Club, American Legion Post 23, Keyport Elks and the Matawan Italian-American Club. For nearly 30 years, he served on the board of directors for the American Legion Apartments located on Beers St in Keyport. Mr. Ferrante is predeceased by his wife Ruth Foulks Ferrante (2010), his son Thomas, Jr. (2012) and siblings Patsy, Joseph, Daniel, Louis, Nicoletta and Concetta. Surviving are his children Patricia A Kroeger, Parsippany; Nicole F. Caddle, Keyport; Timothy Ferrante and his wife Jacqueline, Keyport; nine grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
