Thomas F. Dierks

 Thomas F. Dierks, 89, of Union Beach, NJ passed away Thursday, May 14th, at Venetian Rehab and Nursing Home, South Amboy.
Thomas was born in Newark, NJ on December 31, 1930, a son of the late Catherine (Rears) and John Dierks. He served our country proudly in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Thomas was a mechanic at Precision Engineered Casting in Middletown, NJ, was a communicant of Holy Family RCC, a member of American Legion Post 23 in Keyport and he enjoyed fishing and gardening.
 
Thomas was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth, his brother Harry and sisters Rosemarie Sacharanski and just a few weeks ago his sister Laverne Dierks. He is survived by his loving daughter Patricia and her husband Jack Wegman Jr., step children Joanne Verrone, Charles Strang and Peter Strang. Also surviving ate cherished grandchildren Catherine Wegman and Jack Wegman III, and many devoted nieces and nephews.
A graveside funeral service will be held for Thomas Monday May 18, 2020 at 10:30
at St. Joseph's Cemetery Mausoleum in Keyport.
