Susan A (Pettinato) Dane

Susan Dane, of Keyport passed away unexpectedly at home, Saturday May 9, 2020. Born in Jersey City, NJ she was formally of Union Beach, NJ before moving to Keyport, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Ann Pettinato. Susan was known for helping others when they were in need. She loved spending time with her family but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crafting, baking, and gardening. Her favorite pass time was going on the boat and fishing,camping, bowling, and playing on-line computer games. Susan is survived by her devoted husband Robert of 40 years and two sons; Robert “John” Dane and his wife Michelle of Keyport, NJ, and Matthew Dane and his significant other Christine of Keyport, NJ. She leaves behind her cherished grandchildren; Brooke, John, and Leah. Susan is also survived by three sisters; Ann Ellsworth and husband Ronald of Kendall Park, NJ, Katherine Ziolkowski and husband Martin of Albrightsville, PA, Mary Pecora and husband Sal of West Palm Beach, FL, and two brothers; Michael Pettinato and wife Patricia of Union Beach, NJ, and Robert Pettinato and wife Lisa of Port Monmouth, NJ. She is predeceased by a brother Joseph Pettinato. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews, Services for Susan will be private.
