Stephen F Koyi

Stephen Francis Koyi Jr, 69 of South Amboy passed away Thursday May 20, 2021 at Riverview Medical Center of Red Bank.

He was predeceased by his parents Stephen Koyi Sr, and Mary (Stanski) Koyi and a brother-in-law Albert Rossi.

Stephen is survived by his loving wife Karen D. (Lebenz) Koyi; children Kimberly M. Conk and Edward of Conway, South Carolina; Dana L. McKeon and her husband Edward of Lehigh Acres, Florida and Stephanie Conklin and her husband Robert of South Amboy.

Also surviving are Stephen's grandchildren Sergeant Daniella Winborn, Dante and Dalton Colantuoni, Alyssa Koyi, Edward and Patrick McKeon, and Alexis and Robert Conklin. Stephen also leaves behind his nephew Ronald Rossi and his wife Sandy of Keyport. 

Stephen also leaves behind a dear sister JoAnn Rossi.

Stephen was born in South Amboy and attended St. Joseph's Grammar School and was a High School Graduate of Keyport High School.  After graduating, Stephen proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He was a Chemical Operator for Witco Chemical Co. in Perth Amboy for 35 years.

A visitation will be held for Stephen on Sunday May 23, 2021 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey and again Monday May 24, 2021 9AM at the funeral home for a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Church of Keyport.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery of South Amboy.
