Obituary

   Shirley C. Hicks, 97 of Matawan, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at home.  Shirley was born in Newark, NJ and moved to Cheesequake Village, Matawan in 1979.  She worked as an administrative secretary for St. James Hospital, Newark, New Jersey.   She was a member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, Keyport, New Jersey.
   Shirley is predeceased by her parents, Harold and Dorothy Haas, husband William J, son William L and brother John Haas.  She is survived by her loving daughter in law, Angela Hicks of North Carolina and cherished grandchildren; Alisa Wilson (husband Craig Wilson) of North Carolina, Michael Hicks of Syracuse, New York and great-
grandchildren Aidan, Brett and Grace Wilson.
   Relatives and friends are invited Friday, February 25, 2022, 9:30 AM at the funeral home.  A service will be offered 10 AM. Burial will follow at Cloverleaf Cemetery in Woodbridge.
