Obituary
Ruth G. Bennett 89 of Cliffwood Beach passed away Monday, April 10, 2023, at Bayshore Community Hospital of Holmdel.
She was born in Rich Square, North Carolina to the late Ned Suggs and Annie (Hughes) Suggs.
Ruth is also predeceased by her beloved husband Walter Bennett, her son-in-law Jeffrey Blackstock, 4 sisters, and 3 brothers.
She is survived by her beloved children Moreen Blackstock of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Tonya Bennett of Harlem New York City, Ronette Jones of Long Branch New Jersey; grandchildren Devyn, Iyana, Roc, and Mekhi of New York City and Miranda of Fredericksburg, Virginia, and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends that loved her.
Ruth was a longtime member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church of Cliffwood Beach and a Foster Care parent of Monmouth County.
At the request of the family, Ruth will be privately cremated.
Relatives and friends are invited to a homegoing celebration service of Ruth's life on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
