Ronald M. Dente

   Ronald M. Dente, 81 of Keyport, passed away Wednesday February 10, 2021 at Monmouth Medical Center of Long Branch.

   He was born to the late Michael Dente and Sophie (Pazanski) Dente.

  Ronald was predeceased by his loving wife Lenora "Moose" Dente of 59 years.

  Ronald is survived by his beloved children Anthony Dente and Amy Allshouse of Throop, Pennsylvania; Karen Sosnowski and her husband Wally of Forest City, Pennsylvania; Ronnie Dente and Susan Dente of Keyport; and Teresa Dente and Robert of Toms River.

  He also leaves behind a brother Michael J. Dente; beloved grandchildren Steven, Zack, Ryan, Dylan, Andrew, Austyn, RJ, Rachel and Mason; and a great-grandchild Elijah.

  Ronald was a Former Captain of The Keyport Hook and Ladder Fire Company #91 and also the former business owner of Pyramid Construction. 

  He was a Life Member of the National Rifle Association, a gun enthusiast, a family man. Humble and kind. A true jack of all trades!

  He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. He is eternally reunited with the love of his life.

   A visitation for Ronald will be held on Monday February 15, 2021 at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 from 10AM to 1PM.  During that time a prayer service will be offered for Ronald at 12:30 PM.

  Burial will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery of Keyport.
