Robert Evans

 Robert Evans, 94 of Boca Raton Florida, formerly of Aberdeen, passed away Monday March 20, 2023 at Willow Brook Nursing Care in Florida.

   He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late George Evans and Margaret (McMillian) Evans. Robert is also predeceased by his beloved wife Louise (Spiegle) Evans; two loving children Dennis Evans and Theresa Gatarz; a loving granddaughter Michelle Lewis, and his siblings.

   He is survived by his wife Mildred Evans; his children Deborah Lewis of Binghamton, New York, and Susan Sparrock and her husband Robert of Aberdeen; grandchildren Robert Lewis III, Jonathan Gatarz, Greg Gatarz, Stephanie Gatarz, Amanda Gatarz; and great-grandchildren Jacob Lewis, Hunter Ellis, Robert Lewis IV, Emilie Lewis, Ethan Lewis, Aiden Gatarz-McKenna, and Gabriella Jimenez.

   Robert attended the University of Pennsylvania and was an Executive for Wakefern Food Corporation in Edison, New Jersey for 38 years.

   Robert enjoyed skiing and spending time with his family at his lake house in Montrose, PA. When it came time to relax, he enjoyed golfing, reading, and playing cards.

   Friends and relatives are invited to a memorial visitation for Robert on Thursday April 13, 2023 from 9AM to 10AM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735.

   A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30AM at St. Joseph's Church (Our Lady of Fatima Parish) of Keyport.

Interment of ashes will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery of Keyport.
