Raul Ruiz

 Raul Ruiz, 85, of Hazlet, NJ passed away Thursday, November 7th, at home with his loving family by his side.
Raul was born in Havana, Cuba, on December 12, 1933, a son of the late Acelia (Panda y Florit) and Raul Ruiz. Raul moved from Cuba to Union City, NJ settling in Hazlet 32 years ago. He was a Longshoreman for Local 1235 in New Jersey retiring in 2002.
Raul is predeceased by his son Raul in 2002. He is survived by his loving wife Onia (nee Ojeda) Ruiz; cherished children Miguel and his wife Dorothy and daughter in law Michele Ruiz. Also surviving are his devoted grandchildren; Olivia, Zachary, Natalie and Megan Ruiz.
Visitation will be held 2 PM to 4 PM on Monday, November 11th at Day Funeral Home in Keyport, New Jersey and again 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 12th at Day Funeral Home in Keyport, New Jersey
A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 12th at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Middletown, NJ.
