Philip Tanala Obituary

Philip J. Tanala, of Matawan, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Bayshore Community Hospital. He was 96.

Philip was born in Newark, NJ on June 25, 1924, a son of the late Irene (Mullhul) and Philip Tanala.

Philip served in the Merchant Marines in WW II and the Korean War.

Philip leaves behind his loving wife Gloria; his adoring daughter Linda Stoller Sullivan of Englewood, Florida; his devoted son Gene Tanala of Howell and his cherished grandchildren Kimberly and Jacob Stoller.

Friends and Family are invited to a graveside service on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Holy Cross Cemetery in Jamesburg to begin prompty at 11AM. To leave a condolence for the family, please do so here on out website.
