Paul Philip Hedden

Paul Phillip Hedden, 86 of Matawan passed away at home Friday, October
6, 2023. Paul graduated from Matawan Regional High School in 1955 and
served in the Air Force during the Korean War. In 1966 Paul came back
home to Matawan to raise his family. He would eventually start his
Business, Hedden Electric. Many referred to him as the “Poor Man’s
Electrician” because he helped out so many residents, especially seniors.
One of Paul’s joys in life was to fish. His entire family has shared memories
of those days with him. Though the greatest catch of his life was his wife,
Julia. Family and faith were always his priority. That’s what he lived for.
Paul is predeceased by his parents; Paul and Elizabeth and his sister
Irene. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years; Julia Frances (Zuck),
adoring children; Patricia A Tamburello, Paul P Hedden, James E. Hedden,
Thomas W. Hedden and Robin R. Spagnoli. He also leaves 6 cherished
grandchildren; Rebecca, Ciara, Paul, Thomas, Joseph and Brenda. Paul
will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 3-6 PM.
A service will be offered during the visitation. His cremation will be private.
