Patricia Catherine (McCabe) Hoff
August 22, 1930- March 15, 2021

Patti passed away Monday peacefully in the comfort of her home of 65 years surrounded by family.

She was born in Bloomfield New Jersey. Growing up Patti and her 7 siblings spent their summers in their bungalow located in Laurence Harbor. In her teens Patti would frequent the boardwalk where one evening she met Joe, the love of her life. Patti & Joe had 7 children & were married for 52 years. Joe (former Old Bridge Councilman) passed in 2003.

Patti worked as a telephone operator, secretary and receptionist before retiring in 1993. Patti loved a crowd and was a conversation starter. She carried a camera most places she went. If she knew you chances are, we have a picture of you in one of the multitudes of photo boxes she accumulated throughout her life.

Patti led an active life and was involved in her community. She was a member of The Democratic Club, The Women’s Club, The Rosary Society of St. Lawrence, The Columbiettes and sang in the church choir. She went by many names; Pat, Miss Patti, Nani, Nani Bear, Mrs. Hoff, Mom & her most frequently heard term of endearment “Mommy”. Her favorite color was green, she always wore a flower in her hair and never missed a vote.

She is preceded in death by her husband, son David Hoff and daughter Patricia Fleming. She is survived by children Joseph Hoff JR of Neshanic Station NJ, Ezekial Peterhoff of Philadelphia PA , Margaret (Margie) Thomas of Laurence Harbor/Florida , Kathleen Hemsath of St Charles, Missouri and George Hoff of Laurence Harbor NJ . Additionally, she was blessed with 16 Grandchildren 16, Great Grandchildren and 2 Great- Great Grandchildren.

A memorial visitation will be held for Patricia on Wednesday March 24, 2021 from 3PM to 7PM.

The next day friends and relatives are invited to meet at Church for a Memorial Mass Thursday March 25, 2021 at 10AM at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church of Laurence Harbor, N.J.  The church address is 109 Laurence Parkway,  Laurence Harbor, NJ 08879.

Following mass, the family will hold a celebration of life.
