Nicola N Celfo

In Loving Memory 

Nicola Celfo, 94, of Keyport, NJ passed peacefully on Saturday, February 12, 2022.

Nick was born August 21, 1927 to Carmen and Millie (Russo) Celfo and grew up in Newark, NJ.  He served in the US Navy for 6 years, where he trained as a boiler operator which led to his career as a boiler engineer for Manncraft Corrugated Box Corporation, where he retired in 1994.  In his younger days, he was on softball teams and bowling leagues, but his love of golf followed throughout his lifetime. 

Nick is predeceased by his beloved wife, Helen (Testa) and leaves behind two loving daughters; Dona Remensnyder of Colts Neck and Elena Kwiecinski & husband Paul of Keyport; three devoted grandchildren, Derek Remensnyder & wife Vera of Haskell, Danielle Remensnyder of Spring Lake, and Katelyn Kwiecinski & fiancé Kristina Fetto of Keyport; and two great-grandchildren, Dylan Remensnyder and Heidi Remensnyder.  Also surviving are his two brothers: James (Vincent) and Carmen Celfo & their families.

Nick will remain in our hearts forever.

A Memorial Visitation for Nicola will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the funeral home from 2 - 6 PM.
