Nancy A. Smutko

    Nancy A. Smutko, 75 of Matawan passed away Saturday November 12, 2022 at home.

   She was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey to the late John Scully and Margaret (Leary) Scully and was a highschool graduate.

   Nancy worked in Environmental Services at Bayshore Community Hospital and as a waitress at the Johnie Cozy Corner.

   She was also predeceased by siblings Jack and Butch Scully.

   Nancy is survived by her beloved husband Alex Smutko, children Kelly Neuman and her husband Richard of North Carolina, Rachel Smutko of Aberdeen, Jennifer Cooke and her husband Mathew of Brick, Alexis Smutko of Red Bank and Tracy Latimer and her husband Charlie of West Caldwell; grandchildren Shanon Moller, Katie Serebrjansky, John Neuman, Jack Ostrowsky, Olivia Latimer, Charlie Latimer, Rachel Brodie, Quasha Brown, Johnelle McKinney, Rocco McKinney, Antoine Tolbert; and great-grandchildren Charlie and Briana Moller, and Logan and Vaiana Serebrjansky.

    She also leaves behind her brothers and sisters in law Neil and Iris Scully of Manahawkin, Leo and Eleanor Scully of Cliffwood Beach.

    Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation for Nancy on Tuesday November 15, 2022 from 4-8PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 and again on Wednesday November 16, 2022 9:15AM at the funeral home for a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Joseph's Church (Our Lady of Fatima Parish).

   Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery of Keyport.
