Michele Servidio

 Michele Servidio, 74 of Union Beach, passed away Friday July 2nd, 2021 at home.

    He was born in Toritto Bari, Italy to the late Antonio Servedio and Caterina (Tedone) Servedio.

    He immigrated to the United States in 1970 and worked as a general laborer throughout his life at various companies, last working for Solar Mite Electric Contractors of Woodbridge, New Jersey.

  By craft, Michele was a builder and jack of all trades. He loved the outdoors, gardening, hunting, crabbing, making homemade wine and sauce and especially his focaccia for family and friends. Michele always loved being around his family and friends, whether it was around his kitchen table, outside sitting in the yard, or lending a hand to someone in need. His light hearted nature and fun spirit will always be remembered. 
    
    Michele was also predeceased by his beloved wife Nicoletta Servidio in 1998 and a brother Nicola Servedio.

    He leaves behind his loving children Antonio Servidio and his wife Meredith, Joseph Servidio and his wife Beth, Frank Servidio and his wife Jessica  and Caterina Servidio all of Union Beach; grandchildren Michael Servidio and his wife Samantha, Nicoletta, Joseph, Nico, Giavanna, Milena Servidio and one on the way;  siblings Francesco, Salvatore, Gaetano, and Vincenzo Servedio, Nicoletta DeVito, and Carmela D'Erasmo; in-laws Francesco Lepore and his wife Giuseppina and many nieces and nephews.

    Friends and family are invited to a visitation for Michele on Tuesday July 6, 2021 from 3PM to 7PM at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 and again on Wednesday July 7, 2021 9AM at the funeral home for a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church of Union Beach.  Burial will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery of Keyport.
