Michele (Huryk) Dimsey

Michele Dimsey, 63 of Cliffwood Beach, passed away Wednesday February 3, 2021 at Raritan Bay Medical Center of Old Bridge.

She was born to the late Peter and Theresa (Slaczek) Huryk in Newark, New Jersey on November 21, 1957  

Michele was a 25 -year member of the Women's Auxiliary Laurence Harbor Fire Department, Old Bridge Township District 1 and a Faithful attendant of Community Covenant Church, Laurence Harbor, where she was also a loving childcare provider. 

She worked for Provident Bank in Hazlet and was a former Bank Teller for over 20 yrs.

Michele is survived by her beloved husband George of 40 years, loving children Ronald Dimsey and his wife Susan of Toms River, Jodi Brinkerhoff and her husband Fred of Mechanicsville, Virginia, George Dimsey Jr, his wife Linda of Port Saint Lucie, Florida, and Michael Dimsey and his wife Karen of Ringoes. Also surviving are her brothers Peter, Robert and Kenneth. She is also predeceased by a daughter Barbara Romano, and a brother Joseph Huryk. Michele also leaves behind 16 beloved grandchildren and 14 dear great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Michelle was giving, caring, a wonderful wife, and a thoughtful grand-mother and great-grandmother, who never forgot a birthday.

She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation for Michele on Monday February 8, 2021 from 4pm -8pm at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735.

Funeral Services will be on Tuesday February 9, 2021 at 10am held at Day Funeral Home.  

Burial will follow in Shoreland Memorial Gardens of Hazlet.
