Michael J Holowatch

Michael John Holowatch, 69, of Old Bridge, passed away peacefully at his home on April 18th, 2023. He was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey to the late Michael Holowatch and Elizabeth Dalton.


Mike attended school and grew up in Carteret, NJ. After high school, he attended Lincoln Technical Institute. Mike was a successful business owner of MTV Inc., owning and operating a Gulf Station in Linden, NJ and as a fleet contractor for Verizon until his retirement.


From a young age, Mike had a passion for mechanics, always tinkering with cars and motors.  He was always eager to take on new challenges, being very skilled in building and repairing all things. Mike had a talent for creating beautiful stained-glass art and enjoyed working with his hands.


Mike’s love for the ocean began on his grandfather's dock and this passion continued as he took his children and grandchildren to the beach and boardwalk, instilling an appreciation for all things Shore.


Michael is survived by his devoted wife Julia Holowatch, his loving children Vanessa and her husband Daniel Mironov, Michael and his fiancée Tiffany, Joyce and her husband Jeffrey Johnsen, and his four loving grandchildren Luke and Victor Mironov, and Olivia and Lillian Holowatch. Also survived by loving in-laws James and Bettylynn Pellett, Thomas and Jacqueline Manolio and nephews Richard Dalyai and Thomas Manolio.
