Mary Ann (Cestara) Demarest

Mary Ann Demarest, 82, of Aberdeen passed away on Saturday, January
30, 2021 at Powerback Rehabilitation. Mary Ann was born and raised
in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Aberdeen in 1997.

MaryAnn was a homemaker and devoted wife to Donald Demarest. She
enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also
enjoyed going to church and church activities with her friends.

Mary Ann was predeceased by her daughter, Helene Demarest of
Arizona and her sisters Helen Davis of Tennessee and Pauline Cestara of
Brooklyn. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Donald Demarest,
her children Edward Demarest and his wife Patricia of Aberdeen and
Donna Sommerman and her husband John Sommerman of Spring Hill,
Florida.

She is also survived by her adoring grandchildren Michael Demarest,
Patricia Williams, Christopher Demarest, Nicholas Demarest, John
Sommerman, Jessie Sommerman, Jason Sommerman and Michelle
Sommerman as well as her 7 great grandchildren Cecilia, Pippa, Lilah,
Wesley, Henry, Lilianna and Rosalie.

Interment is private. A memorial is planned for spring 2021.
