Mary Ann Kmetz, passed away Friday, February 28th, at home in Union Beach. She was 79. Mary Ann was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on July 6th, 1940, a daughter to the late Walter and Mary Snyder. During her life she was a file clerk at Blue Cross of Northeastern PA in Wilkes-Barre and a counter attendant at Bakery Delite in Plains, PA. Mary Ann was predeceased by her parents, husband John Kmetz, and her siblings Fred Snyder, Walter Snyder, and Kay Tucker. Mary Ann is survived by her loving children; Susan Kmetz, James, Thomas, Matthew, and David Burcicki; and her four grandchildren. Mary Ann resided in Union Beach with her daughter Susan, son-in-law Jakai Jones and grandson Jakai. She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. At the request of the family, Mary Ann's services will be private.
