Martha M. Maltese

 Martha M. Maltese, 93, of Freehold, NJ passed away Saturday, December 12th, at her long term residence, the Allaire Rehabilitation and Nursing Home where she was lovingly cared for over the last 34 years by their staff and more recently in conjunction with the very caring staff of  Loren Serenity Hospice. Martha was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 7, 1927, a daughter of the late Cecilia (Sardo) and Natale Maltese. Martha is predeceased by her brother Frank Maltese and his wife Eleanor and her brother P. Anthony Maltese and his wife Prudence.  She is survived by her niece Cecilia Maltese, her partner John Makai and her much beloved great nephew Luke Makai and also by her nephew Christopher Maltese, his wife Joyce and their children Kaitlyn and Michael.  During her life, Martha was employed as a bookkeeper in the garment district of New York City. In her younger days Martha enjoyed photography and was an equestrian. She also enjoyed domestic and international travel.

A graveside service will be held Monday December 21, 2020 at a 11:30 at Holmdel Cemetery, Holmdel, NJ.
