Marina Rodriguez

Marina Rodriguez, 91, was called home by God, on June 12th, 2019, in Altamonte Springs, Florida, due to natural causes.
Marina was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, on February 16, 1928. Throughout her life Marina was a resident of Puerto Rico, New York, and New Jersey before she finally settled down with her husband in Florida in 2003. Marina was loved, adored, and cherished by all whose lives she crossed paths with. She was a God-fearing woman and a member of the Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Casselberry, Florida.
Her life revolved around God, church, family, friends and Bingo. Marina had a heart of gold that was like no other. Her smile and laughter would light up a room. She loved and cared deeply for everyone. All she knew was kindness. She will be carried in the hearts of many and tremendously missed.
Marina is survived by her three children, Maria Berrios, Carlos Rodriguez (spouse Mary), and Nancy Rodriguez, her four grandchildren Theresa Berrios, Felix Berrios, Jessica Tharrington, and Jason Navarro, her six great-grandchildren Louis Santiago, Maria Santiago, Ariana Tharrington, Malachi Tharrington, Serenity Tharrington and Jada Tharrington, and her two sisters Iris Cruz and Providencia Miranda. She was preceded in death by her parents Jose and Maria Robado, her siblings Angel, Jose, and Carmen Robado, and her husband Ralph Rodriguez.
Services will first be held in Florida and then in New Jersey.

Service information for Florida is as follows:

Viewing will be held at Banfield Funeral Home (420 W. State Rd. FL-434, Winter Springs, FL 32708), Sunday June 16th, 2019 from 4:00-8:00p.m. Mass will be held Monday, June 17th, 2019 at 11:00am at Saint Augustine Catholic Church in Casselberry, FL.

Service information for New Jersey is as follows:

Viewing will be held at Day Funeral Home (361 Maple Place, Keyport, NJ 07735) Sunday, June 23rd , 2019 from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm.  Friends and relatives are also invited Monday, June 24th ,2019 at 915am from the funeral home, followed by a 10am Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Joseph’s Catholic Church of Keyport, New Jersey. Burial will follow at Shoreland Memorial Gardens of Hazlet, NJ.
