Mack S Hailey

Mack S. Hailey, son of the late Maso and Martha Hailey (both deceased), was born May 3, 1942, in
Conway, NC and departed this life, Sunday June 5, 2022.
Mack graduated high school and moved to Newark, NJ in 1961. Shortly after moving to NJ he met the
love of his life, Beaulah Ward. Mack and Beaulah united in marriage on June 29 th , 1963 and built a life
together in Cliffwood Beach, New Jersey.
Mack took pride in his job. First as a supervisor for L and L Casting Company and then, after earning his
CDL, as a truck driver and member of the Teamsters Union. Mack’s job took him up and down the east
coast and across the Midwest. Mack enjoyed spending time with his family, watching sports and prior to
falling ill, being an active member of the Shore Knights Social Club.
Mack was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Lovingly called “Pop-Pop” by
his grandchildren. He will be missed and remembered fondly.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife Beaulah.
Children: Two sons Dwayne Hailey of Cliffwood Beach, NJ and Derek Hailey and his wife Yvonne of
Warner Robins, GA.
Grandchildren: Three granddaughters Tegan, Briana and Madison. Three grandsons, Steven, Christopher
and Damion. Two great-granddaughters Adelie and Lucy and one great grandson Emilio.
Siblings: Velda Hailey, Cornelius Thomas, Joe Miles, Donald Miles, Ronald Miles, Christopher Miles,
Charlotte Miles. Preceding Mack in death are siblings Priscilla A. Everett, Bernice Miles, Bernard Miles,
Whitley Miles, Frederick Miles.
He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and family.
