Louise Nieski

Louise (Ludwika) Nieski, 82 of Matawan, formerly of Union Beach and Elizabeth, New Jersey passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Madison Center, Matawan. She was an Account Secretary for Metal Litho Corporation in Elizabeth, NJ until 1987 and employed with Food Service with Marriott Corporation in South Amboy until 2010.

Born in Tarnopol, Poland in 1938 and coming to the US in 1951, Louise loved her family and home more than anything and was generous, giving all that she could and never hesitating to help anyone in need. She worked hard to produce a beautiful home and environment. Emphasizing education and culture she raised her son herself and held a prominent part in the life of her family.

Louise is predeceased by her parents Michal and Stefania (Kledynska) Gorzkowski, brothers Stanley and John and sisters Wanda and Teresa, her first husband Stanley Magrys,1965, and second husband Jan Nieski in 1986. She is survived by her son Bonaventure Magrys of Cliffwood Beach, grandson Cory Magrys, and many loving nieces and nephews.

At the request of the family, Louise was privately cremated.

An interment of ashes and service will be held Saturday, December 19, 2020 11AM at St Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia located at 53 Inman Avenue Colonia, New Jersey 07067. For directions there, call 1-888-444-2791.
