Louis William Gomlick, a longtime resident and business owner of Aberdeen, New Jersey, passed away Sunday June 30, 2019 at Linwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born and raised in the Bronx, New York on April 15, 1931 to the late Louis L. Gomlick and Eleanor (Crogent) Gomlick.
Louis proudly served his country in the United States Marines during the Korean War, and shortly there after from 1952 to 1956.
After serving his country he went on to achieve his Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Pennsylvania State University in 1957, where he received a track and field scholarship.
He was a lifetime of the ATO Fraternity.
He worked for Bethlehem Steel as an Executive from 1957 to 1981 and then went on to form his own business, Penn International Marine Agencies of Aberdeen, from 1981 to 2019.
Louis spent many years running track in high school, college, and the Marine Corps.
He was a proud Penn State graduate, an avid skier and New York Giants fan and was always "the life of the party".
