Kevin H. Parsells, age 66, husband of Barbara Parsells, passed away Saturday May 16th, at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank after a courageous battle with Cancer. Kevin was born in Bayonne, NJ on December 27, 1953, a son of the late May (Wilson) and William Parsells. Kevin was a lifelong resident of Union Beach, NJ and well known for his passion for music, he had an early affinity for the guitar, and was a remarkable musician, his talents with instruments ranged from bass, piano, electric, acoustic guitar and also enjoyed singing. Kevin played in many bands throughout his life with many other talented musicians.
Kevin supported and represented his hometown of U.B as a member of the American Legion post 321, ELKS and Knights of Columbus. He worked as a Local 4 roofer, chemical operator for IFF & CEI. He enjoyed many hobbies, fishing, crabbing, hunting, and was a collector of Beatles memorabilia. He was generous husband and father and known for his kind and compassionate spirit, he loved his friends and family dearly, and was full of life.
Kevin is predeceased by his brothers, Bill Elliot, Eugene Parsells and sister, Ayleen "Sissy" Maclean. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara (Dowd) Parsells, his children and their spouses Kevin and Elizabeth Parsells Nadine and William Clifton III. His loving grandchildren Kevin and Isabella Parsells. Kayla, Emma, and William Clifton IV, and a expecting Parsells granddaughter. Also surviving is his cherished brother and sister in-law Robert and Kathy Parsells. Kevin also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
