Kevin Crawford Nixon

   Kevin Crawford Nixon, 72, of Monroe Township, NJ passed away peacefully on May 22, 2023. 
   
   He was born on July 23, 1950 to John and Marian Nixon of Union Beach, NJ.

   Kevin attended Keyport High School and joined the US Navy. After being honorably discharged, he worked as a chemical operator for International Flavors and Fragrances of Union Beach, NJ until his retirement in 2012.
   
   He was an avid golfer and was happiest when he was on a golf course or spending time with his companion Fran.
   
   Kevin is survived by his children Christine Wozniak and her husband Tomasz and Michelle Gillespie and her husband Timothy; grandchildren Faith, Christopher, Scarlett, Quinn, Luke, and Brady; a brother Gary Nixon and his wife Ellen and a sister-in-law Jackie Nixon.
   
   He was preceded in death by his son (Kevin Patrick), parents (John and Marian) and brothers (John and Richard).
   
   Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation for Kevin on Thursday May 25, 2023 from 5-8 PM at Day Funeral Home, 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 and again on Friday May 26, 2023 10:30 AM at the funeral home for an 11AM Funeral Home Service.

   Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery of Keyport.
