Julius J. Rosato, 94, of Keyport, NJ passed away Monday,
September 13th, at Anchor Care and Rehab, Hazlet.
He was the husband of Vincenza Rosato. Julius was born in
Cliffwood (Little Genoa), NJ on December 8, 1926, a son of the
late Adelaide (Pelligrino) and Daniel Rosato. He served proudly in
the U.S. Navy in WW II.
Julius was a layout man at JCPL in Sayreville, Union Beach and
Hightstown NJ for many years. He was a member and past Chief
of Keyport Fire Company, a member of the Keyport Knights of
Columbus, Keyport American Legion, and a Councilman in
Keyport.
Julius leaves behind his loving wife Vincenza (Tina) Rosato, 2
cherished daughters and their spouses Patricia & Jerry McNair,
Maria & Dennis Kline. Also surviving are his 4 grandchildren and
their spouses, 10 great-grandchildren and his devoted brother
Daniel.
Visitation will be held at Day Funeral Home on Thursday 3-7pm
and again Friday morning at 9 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will
be held at 10 am at Our Lady of Fatima Parish Keyport.
Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be
made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or St. Jude Children’s
Hospital.
