Judith Petosa Obituary

      Judith A. Petosa, 80 of Keyport, formerly of Staten Island passed away
Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.
        Judith was a graduate of Curtis H.S., where she was on the Swim Team,
and attended many Friday night CYO dances, as well as a lead singer in a
trio during the Doo-Wop era. She was a Bookkeeper (Jude Plumbing and
Heating), and also worked as a Home Health Aide before her retirement,
and volunteered whenever possible. Judith was a communicant of St.
Joseph RC Church, Keyport.
      Judy is predeceased by her parents; Sebastian and Wanda Montuori;
siblings Joan Nardiello and Barbara DiCostanzo.
       She is survived by her loving children and their spouses; Stephen (the
Golden Child) and Paula Petosa of Lake Worth Fl., Cindy and Paul
Fiumano of Hazlet, Judy and Ralph Yoffredo of Effort, PA., Carmine and
Denise Petosa of Port St. Lucie, Fl.  Judy also leaves her adoring
grandchildren; Katerina and Stephanie Petosa, Danielle, Paul and Carmine
Fiumano, Demi-Anne and AustinYoffredo, Samantha and Carmine Petosa
and her cherished great grandchildren; Joseph and Elianna Bechtel. Also
many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends dating back from childhood to
current friends and neighbors at Bethany Manor.
        Anyone who knew Judy knows that she was always good for a laugh, and
had many stories to tell. She loved to sing and dance, was obsessed with
Elvis Presley, and enjoyed her sweets.
        She also took pride in her Grandchildren, by going to many Baseball,
Softball, Football, Basketball, and Soccer games as well as Special
Olympics, Parades, Plays, Marching Band, Twirling, and Colorguard
Competitions, Singing Concerts, and Dance Recitals to support them all.
        Relatives and friends are invited Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 4-7 PM at
the funeral home. A service will be offered at the visitation. Her cremation
is private. At the family’s request, in lieu of flowers, donations may be
made in her honor to Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation or St.
Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
