John "Jack" Keefe

John "Jack" Keefe of Hazlet, passed away on Friday, February 5th, at Riverview Medical Center. He was 80 years old.

Jack was born in Hackensack, NJ on April 3, 1940 to the late John Joseph Keefe and Elizabeth Ballantyne.

Jack leaves behind his devoted wife Diane. In their 58 years together they enjoyed traveling domestically and abroad. Some of their favorite vacation spots included the National Parks and beach vacations, most of which included time with friends and family. Jack and Diane's favorite pastime was actively supporting their children and grandchildren in sporting events. They were always the #1 fans.

Family was the heartbeat in Jack's life.

Jack's legacy includes his son John Keefe and his wife Donna of Basking Ridge; His son James Keefe and his wife Sharon of Millstone; His daughter Coleen Hook and her husband Dana of Middletown; his son Patrick Keefe and his wife Jo Anne of Old Bridge; his fourteen grandchildren Shannon, Erin, Katie, Mackenzie, Morgan, Megan, Mallory, Madi, Justin, Tristin, Dianna, Steven, Michael, and David. Jack also leaves behind his brother Herbert and his wife Denise; his brother Gene and his wife Dorcas; his brother Ronald; his sister Betty Ann Negron and her husband Bob; his sister Dawn Cosentino and her husband Tony.

Jack spent countless hours hunting and fishing. He coached his children's teams and supported all their events and accomplishments. Each child and grandchild was a source of pure pride and joy.

Family and friends are welcomed to a memorial visitation Wednesday February 10, 2021 at Day Funeral Home located at 361 Maple Place, Keyport NJ 07735, from 5PM until 8PM.
