John P. DeFelice SR., 88 of Holmdel, passed away Friday, September 25, 2020, at home. Formerly of Matawan, he was a Korean War Army Veteran. He worked for Allied Signal Bendix Aerospace Company for 40 years. John loved his music and played the accordion. He was an avid bowler, golfer, and enjoyed farming on the weekends. He had a love for his favorite teams the NY Yankees, Cleveland Browns and Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
John is pre deceased by his first wife Geraldine, his second wife Betty and his sister Norma Carson. He is survived by his loving children; Jacqueline DeFelice of Holmdel, Linda Jeal and her husband John of Shrewsbury, Patricia DeFelice of Holmdel, John P. DeFelice Jr., and his wife Kimberley of Middletown and two cherished grandchildren; Devin and Kailin. John will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited Tuesday, September 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and Wednesday 9:30 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Catharine, Holmdel followed burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, Keyport.
