Joann (Palestro) McElroy

Joann Palestro McElroy (69) passed away December 28th, 2021 at JFK Hospital in Edison, New Jersey.
Joann was born in Bomba, Italy then immigrated to the United States with her brother William to join their late parents, George and Margaret. The family resided in Brooklyn, New York.  Joann later lived in Manhattan before settling in Woodbridge, New Jersey over thirty years ago.  
Joann was predeceased by her loving parents, Margaret and George. She leaves behind her husband, Keith McElroy and her adored sons, Sean Corcoran of San Francisco, CA and Vincent Corcoran of Woodbridge, NJ. She also leaves behind her siblings William Palestro, Margaret Kerrigan, and Madeline Recco, along with her cherished grandson, Raymond Corcoran, and her loving nieces and nephews.  
 A visitation will be held on January 3rd, 2022 at the Day Funeral Home in Keyport, NJ from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Burial will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery in  Keyport, NJ.
