Gerlando A. (Jerry) Albano, 91, of Marlboro, NJ, passed away Saturday, July 24th, at Wedgewood Gardens Rehab, Freehold.
Jerry was born in Brooklyn, NY on January 1, 1930, a son of the late Annunziata (Spaminato) and Michael Albano.
He served proudly in the U.S. Air Force as a PFC during the Korean War.
Jerry was the Owner/Operator at Boston Fish Market Harlem, NY. for many years.
He loved spending time outside in the yard with his best dog friends Lizzy, Ava and Grace and also enjoyed watching his beloved Yankees.
Jerry was predeceased by his wife and true love Ida Beza Albano in 1997, also by his sister Rose Scordino, and brothers Salvatore and Joseph. He leaves behind his devoted daughter Nancy DeBlasi, and sons Armand and Robert Albano. Also surviving are his cherished grandchildren; US Air Force SSgt Frank DeBlasi Jr., Anthony DeBlasi, Joseph DeBlasi,
Dana Albano, Theresa Albano, Leanna Albano and Alicia Albano.
