What a beautiful obituary to a wonderful man who obviously made a difference in this world. Jason lived a life that mattered. After reading about Jason and his giving heart, I wish that I had known him and his family. I'm happy to hear that the Bees Nice Farm will continue, as Jason would have wanted. God Bless Jason for his loving and giving heart, and prayers of comfort to all of his loved ones.

I met Jay as a very young man he was my son's best friend for many years. As years went by the more I saw Jay I found a good soul of a person. Jay would later drop by my house to say hello, he always was welcome. We both had a common bond in being deadheads.I told him of the many concerts I had been to...also tuna fishing. Jay may you rest in peace brother I will miss our chats

I will always remember how kind Jay was and how no matter the occasion he would always hug me goodbye. His presence was so warm and comforting. I'll never forget his birthday jam sessions- Jay on the bass, me on the flute, and Cassandra on the ukulele. I'm sure we sounded like a mess but it made his already bright smile radiate. "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard" I feel fortunate to have had Jason in my life and to see how happy he made Cassandra, one of my oldest and dearest friends. My heart aches for everyone that loved him, which was many.

This world could not have lost a more vibrant person. You and Cassandra could not have been a better match for each other. I did not know you well, but that does not matter, between the two of you, your personalities shown bright and could never be forgotten. You have touched the lives of everyone you have ever come in contact with. Your love and passion for this world and desire to help others is a legacy we can only all hope to live up to. I have no doubt, that Cassandra Brown-Strodt will continue that legacy and we will all be here to help her (if needed) in her endeavors. You will forever be by her side, but you can take comfort knowing that she has so many others who will be as well. You will never be forgotten.
