James R. Fairless

 James R. Fairless, 70, of Laurence Harbor formerly a long time resident of Mahwah NJ passed away Monday, August 23rd, at home with his family by his side .

James was born in Midland Park, NJ on July 16, 1951, a son of the late Lucille (DeRose) and James  Fairless. He worked as a Mechanic at Mahwah DPW, Mahwah, NJ for many years. He moved from Mahwah to Laurence Harbor three years ago.

James is survived by his loving wife Sharon (nee O'Connor) Fairless, devoted children Frank Holtham, Melissa Scholey and her husband Eric and Theresa Fairless. Also surviving is his beloved brother Dave and cherished grandchildren Stella and Brooklyn Scholey. He leaves behind many cousins and friends.

A memorial gathering will be held Thursday August 26, 2021 at Day Funeral Home from 12-2pm.
